She has spent more than a decade pouring over health research to learn more about how our body reacts to food and exercise and has even put the latest research to the test with her own body, taking part in a 5-month-long weight loss trial at UWA. This research has led her to become and advocate for an increased dietary protein intake, especially amongst the aging population.
